Job summary

Kline Electric Inc in Des Moines is seeking a Journeyman Plumber to supervise apprentices, ensure code-compliant work, and coordinate with management on-site. You will be the primary on-site contact, manage day-to-day operations, handle customer inquiries, and oversee materials.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of relevant experience.
• Valid Journeyman Plumber’s License (preferred).
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Must be able to be insured under company vehicle insurance policy.
• Physical capability to perform the essential duties of the job.
• Strong verbal communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise apprentices to ensure efficient workflow and task completion.
• Ensure all work is performed safely, meets code compliance, and is completed on schedule.
• Act as the on-site liaison between the management and customers, handling inquiries and resolving issues.
• Coordinate material needs and ensure accurate record-keeping.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work site.
• Follow all company policies, including vehicle use and job site conduct.
• Interpret blueprints and technical manuals.
