Overview

Beitzel Corporation is seeking a skilled and dependable Journeyman Electrician to join our growing Electrical Services team. If you enjoy challenging work across various industries and seek a company that supports your growth, this could be the perfect fit.

As a Journeyman Electrician, you will work on a range of industrial and construction projects, including electrical installations, maintenance, and repairs in industries such as construction, manufacturing, commercial facilities, power plants, oil and gas, solar, wind, and more. This hands-on role requires strong electrical knowledge, understanding of industrial environments, and professionalism.

We support electricians interested in further certifications and licenses, assisting you in your professional development.

This position requires a flexible schedule, with travel and out-of-town assignments, extended hours, evenings, weekends, holidays, and occasional night shifts as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide general and skilled labor for industrial and construction projects
• Perform electrical installations and troubleshooting
• Communicate equipment and supply needs
• Prepare T&M tickets, receipts, and paperwork
• Assist with concrete pours, formwork, rebar, masonry, pipefitting, carpentry, plumbing, HVAC, mechanical work, rigging, excavation, trenching, and general labor as required

Working Conditions

• Sit, talk, hear, read, and write
• Walk, handle objects, reach with hands and arms
• Kneel, stoop, bend, squat, climb ladders
• Lift/move up to 50 pounds
• Work at heights and in confined spaces
• Work indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions
• Perform duties on-site and underground at industrial locations

Qualifications

• Journeyman Electrical license in any state (MD preferred)
• 2+ years of electrical experience
• Preferably enrolled in the MSHA-WV Electrical Apprenticeship Program
• Knowledge of Industrial Services and NEC (Electric Code)
• Ability to perform mathematical calculations
• Practical knowledge of office procedures and customer relations
