Job summary

PNC is seeking a Software Engineer Lead to drive technical design and the development of enterprise applications. You will provide SME-level guidance, lead cross-functional teams, and ensure high availability, performance, and scalability of critical systems.

Based in one of several U.S. locations, you will mentor engineers, review code and documentation, and collaborate with product, security, and operations teams to deliver reliable software solutions at scale.

Qualifications

• Lead the technical design and development of software solutions.
• Provide technical guidance and review coding, testing, and documentation.
• Monitor application health and performance using Dynatrace; drive root-cause analysis.
• Partner with development, infrastructure, security, and business teams to troubleshoot production issues.

Responsibilities

• Creates and leads the technical design and development of software solutions.
• Proposes & designs software solutions to address complex business needs. Prepares technical and procedural documentation required.
• Facilitates complex problem resolution.
• Provides technical guidance and support to colleagues. Reviews coding, testing, and documentation of software.
