Lead Java Full Stack Developer Technology Lead - US

Infosys is seeking a Lead Java Full Stack Developer.

This position’s primary responsibility will be to provide technical expertise and coordinate day-to-day deliverables for the team. The candidate will assist in designing large business systems, build applications, interface between applications, and understand data security, retention, and recovery. The role requires researching technologies independently, recommending solutions, and contributing to best practices and standards. Responsibilities include ensuring reliability, performance, data integrity, maintainability, and scalability from design through deployment. The candidate will also guide and mentor the team during build and test phases.

Applicants must be within commuting distance of Jersey City, NJ or Charlotte, NC or willing to relocate. Travel to project locations may be required.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent from an accredited institution, or three years of progressive experience in the field in lieu of a degree.
• At least 4 years of IT experience.
• Experience in Core Java, Java/J2EE, and Angular.

Preferred Qualifications

• At least 4 years in Java/J2EE, with frameworks like Spring, Hibernate.
• Experience with J2EE platform integration, JSTL, Rich Faces, PingAccess.
• Proficiency in REST, JSP, JavaScript, AngularJS, Node.js, HTML5, CSS3, ReactJS.
• Experience with WebSphere or JBoss servers.
• Hands-on UNIX/Linux experience and shell scripting.
• Python scripting knowledge is a plus.
• Experience with MS SQL Server 2016 and Oracle databases.
• Agile experience, ability to work independently.
• Experience with Java ETL platforms for data loading.
• Ability to work in diverse, global teams and support applications.
• Banking domain experience is a plus.
• Strong communication and analytical skills.
• Willingness to work in a global delivery environment.

The role involves sitting and working at a computer for extended periods and may require travel.
