Job summary
Aneka Talent Solutions is seeking a Lead Engineer to guide a software development team in designing, developing, and maintaining Digital Technology systems and applications. This role blends hands-on coding with strategic leadership to deliver reliable solutions across platforms.
The ideal candidate brings 10+ years of development experience, strong Java EE and Spring Boot expertise, and a proven ability to lead agile teams while aligning with SDLC standards.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of development experience
- 5+ years of Java EE experience
- Experience with Maven based Spring/Spring Boot (reactive programming a plus)
- Experience with Microservice architecture and design patterns (event-driven a plus)
- Experience with relational databases and stored procedure design (NoSQL a plus)
- Kubernetes, Containers, GitOps and Jenkins experience a plus
- Knowledge of computer science or engineering technical concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field
- Able to communicate and implement technical solutions.
- Proven ability to collaborate with technical peers.
- Capable of working independently and as part of a team. May assist and guide junior staff, as necessary.
- Demonstrate a certain degree of creativity with analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong with methodologies, tools, best practices, and processes within specific area of responsibility

The Lead Engineer is responsible for providing leadership to an engineering team tasked with the design, development, and maintenance of Digital Technology systems and software applications. The Lead Engineer uses technical knowledge to solve business problems, by means of a systematic and disciplined approach. This position employs software, hardware, and/or communication technologies to accomplish assignments.
- Designs, develops, and implements computer systems and software applications
