Job summary

Euclid Innovations in Charlotte, NC is seeking a Senior Java Developer with FIX and market data experience to join a hybrid team. You will design, implement, and maintain high‑performing Java applications that power electronic trading and market data workflows.

In this role you will collaborate with traders, engineers, and QA to deliver robust, scalable solutions on Linux/Unix platforms, with a focus on concurrency, reliability, and low latency in a fast-paced financial services environment.

Qualifications

• 5-10 years of professional Java development experience.
• Strong understanding of object-oriented design and software engineering principles.
• Strong experience developing multithreaded and concurrent applications.
• Solid understanding of Java concurrency concepts, including thread safety, synchronization, concurrent collections, executors, and performance considerations.
• Experience working in Linux/Unix environments.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and debugging skills.
• Experience with Git or equivalent source control systems.

Location: Charlotte, NC (Hybrid - 3 days a week onsite)

Required Qualifications

• 5-10 years of professional Java development experience
• Strong understanding of object-oriented design and software engineering principles
• Strong experience developing multithreaded and concurrent applications
• Solid understanding of Java concurrency concepts, including thread safety, synchronization, concurrent collections, executors, and performance considerations

Must have domain experience:

• Experience in Financial Services, Capital Markets, or Electronic Trading environments
• Knowledge of Market Data systems, market structure, and exchange connectivity
• Experience with FIX Protocol and trading connectivity
