Job summary

Motion Recruitment seeks a hands-on engineering leader to guide a team building a large-scale appointment scheduling platform for enterprise clients. You will own technical direction, mentor engineers, and drive product-focused innovation while integrating AI-enabled development practices.

You will partner with Product, Design, and Engineering to deliver resilient, scalable software, modernizing mature applications with a focus on reliability and performance.

Qualifications

• Experience leading software engineering teams while remaining technically hands-on.
• Strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, and modern web applications using React and/or Angular.
• Experience building and maintaining enterprise-scale systems.
• Solid understanding of relational databases, including SQL Server and PostgreSQL.
• Experience modernizing mature applications and improving development efficiency.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools and practices.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
• Must be based in the United States and able to travel occasionally.
