Job summary

Compunnel, Inc. is seeking a senior Java developer with strong Spring Boot microservices experience to design, build, and secure APIs using Apigee X. The role requires cloud familiarity, database basics, and experience with CI/CD pipelines (ADO).

You will contribute to scalable backend services and API management in a dynamic environment. The candidate should have extensive Java experience, knowledge of REST, OOP concepts, and a proactive approach to cloud technologies and security best

Qualifications

• 12+ years of Java development experience with Spring Boot microservices.
• Strong knowledge of Java core, collections, and coding standards.
• Experience with REST, microservices design, and JUnit5 testing.
• Familiarity with cloud technologies and basic scheduler concepts.
• Apigee X API management and security concepts.
• Experience with OAuth 2.0 and API security best practices.
• Databases: SQL/PostgreSQL with basic queries.
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines (ADO) and deployments.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Java Spring Boot microservices.
• Design, build, and secure APIs using Apigee X.
• Work with SQL/PostgreSQL databases and data modeling.
• Leverage GCP/GKE and other cloud technologies where applicable.
• Manage CI/CD pipelines and deployments using ADO.
