Job summary

You will collaborate with engineers, product partners, designers, and QA to ship reliable APIs and improve legacy integrations. You will architect REST endpoints, optimize performance, modernize legacy code, and ensure clean, testable code with strong unit tests while integrating with existing backend

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Java server-side development.
• Strong collaboration in cross-functional teams.
• Experience designing solutions with unclear constraints.
• Expert-level Spring Boot for building and maintaining services.
• High proficiency with REST API development, including legacy services.

Responsibilities

• Architect and build Backend-for-Frontend API layer for mobile apps.
• Implement REST endpoints and service contracts aligned to mobile user flows.
• Optimize backend performance through profiling and targeted improvements.
• Refactor legacy code to improve reliability and readability.
• Write clean, testable code with strong unit test coverage.
• Collaborate with engineers, product, design, and QA to deliver features end-to-end.
• Contribute to CI workflows and build tooling.
