Job summary

TIAA in Charlotte, NC is seeking a Lead Developer to design and configure Java-based, production-quality solutions that support enterprise financial platforms. You will write and review code, influence architecture decisions, and mentor teammates across the development lifecycle.

You will lead containerization with AWS EKS, work with CI/CD tooling such as Jenkins, CloudBees, and ArgoCD, and ensure security and performance of external APIs for partner integrations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree is required.
• 5+ years of experience; 7+ preferred.
• Leads design and development of Java solutions.
• Provides technical leadership across the SDLC.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of production-quality Java solutions serving enterprise platforms.
• Provide technical leadership across the development lifecycle and mentor other developers.
• Collaborate with analysts and integration teams to deliver end-to-end technical solutions.
• Design, secure, and maintain external APIs at scale.
• Oversee containerization and deployment using AWS EKS and CI/CD tools.
• Apply AI-generated code in production while ensuring quality and security.
• Perform maintenance programming and fix defects.
