Job summary

TIAA is seeking a Systems Analysis professional in the Charlotte area to design information systems aligned with our architecture. You will work under supervision to translate user needs into system scope and potential solutions, collaborating with engineers and analysts to ensure robust, scalable implementations.

Required experience includes 5+ years in IT within financial services, Java/J2EE, REST/SOAP, and AWS/OpenShift.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in IT in the financial services industry.
• 5+ years Java/J2EE design & development experience.
• 3+ years REST/SOAP, JSON, XML, MuleSoft ESB, and Kong API Gateway for enterprise integrations.
• Experience with AWS services including RDS and OpenSearch, and OpenShift across multi-environment deployments.
• Experience designing and managing BPMN-driven workflow applications.

Responsibilities

• Defines system scope through research and fact-finding for moderately complex information systems.
• Prepares flow charts, models, and procedures and conducts feasibility studies to design system solutions.
• Prepares technical documentation to guide users and support ongoing operation and development.
• Collaborates with analysts, engineers, and programmers to design systems and determine project capabilities.
• Analyzes and revises existing system logic and documentation as needed.
• Assists in developing training sessions and demos for end users.
• Monitors efficiency and troubleshoots application operations.
