Job Details

• Position: Lead Janitor (Full-Time)
• Location: Nestle – 3002 Afton Drive, Batavia, OH 45103 (Online applications only)
• Schedule: Full-time, Day shift available (details upon interview)
• Requirement: At least 2 years of experience
• Pay Range: $15.50 to $16.00 per hour

Job Summary

Performs administrative tasks, trains team members and oversees overall training activities for custodial associates. Acts as a resource for others due to knowledge of cleaning methods, materials, and heavy commercial cleaning equipment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Conduct classroom and hands‑on training on customer service, safety, compliance and company policies.
• Conduct one‑on‑one training as needed.
• Update and provide training on use of janitorial equipment, PPE and chemical usage/safety.
• Copy training material and revise it as needed; conduct administrative tasks as requested.
• Provide feedback on new associates during orientation; review trainee records to ensure compliance.
• Make recommendations to the training coordinator for disciplinary action as appropriate.
• Perform reviews such as monthly safety performance review to ensure compliance with OSHA, Risk Management and other applicable company, federal, state and local requirements and policies.
• Perform walk‑through building inspections as required.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Earnings

Pay Range: $15.50 to $16.00 per hour.
