Job summary

Diversified Maintenance is hiring a Lead Janitor to coordinate activities of employees in cleaning and maintaining premises of commercial and industrial establishments within dry and cold environments. Full-time role with openings on all shifts and a pay rate of $17.00 per hour, with weekly pay.

The Lead Janitor will oversee tasks, supervise floor and carpet care staff, issue supplies, and ensure standards are met while addressing customer concerns.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent, or minimum six months in a janitorial-type position.
• On the job training will be provided.
• Attention to detail.
• Ability to follow instructions effectively.

Responsibilities

• Assign tasks to workers and inspect completed work for conformance to standards.
• Oversee floor and carpet care employees.
• Issue supplies and equipment.
• Perform duties of janitorial staff.
• Appraise employee performance.
• Address customer complaints and resolve problems.
