Job summary

Diversified Maintenance is hiring a Lead Janitor to coordinate cleaning and maintaining premises in commercial and industrial environments. This role oversees janitorial staff in dry and cold environments and reports to the site supervisor.

Shift is full-time, 9:00 am to 5:30 pm, Monday through Friday, with $21.00 per hour and weekly pay. On-the-job training is provided and candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent; multilingual abilities are a plus in this diverse team in

Job Description

Diversified Maintenance is hiring a Lead Janitor. The Lead Janitor coordinates the activities of employees engaged in cleaning and maintaining premises of commercial and industrial establishments within dry and cold environments.

SCHEDULE:

• Full Time
• 9am-5:30pm
• Monday - Friday

PAY RATE: $21.00 per hour

WEEKLY PAY

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assign tasks to workers, and inspects completed work for conformance to standards
• Oversee floor and carpet care employees
• Issue supplies and equipment
• Perform duties of janitorial staff
• Appraise employee performance
• Address customer complaints and resolves problems

QUALIFICATIONS (MUST HAVE):

• High school diploma or equivalent, or a minimum of six (6) months of experience in a janitorial type position
• On the job training will be provided
• Attention to detail

  PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (NICE TO HAVE):

  • Ability to speak, read, and write multiple languages fluently
  • Prior cleaning or janitorial experience
  • Familiarity with custodial practices and commercial cleaning standards
  • Knowledge of floor care techniques including buffing and waxing
  • Experience in industrial cleaning or facilities maintenance
