Job summary

You will supervise, teach, and manage inventories to support consistent meal production while upholding custody requirements. This is a full-time position, 40 hours per week, typical schedule 11:00 AM–7:00 PM with rotating days off.

Qualifications

• Two years of experience in food preparation, production, or service in an institutional setting.
• Equivalent combination of experience and training accepted.
• Successful completion of basic training in Elizabethtown, PA is required.

Responsibilities

• Lead and instruct inmate workers in daily food service tasks at SCI Greene.
• Ensure sanitation, safety standards, and proper equipment use are followed.
• Receive, store, and rotate food and supplies using proper inventory procedures.
• Plan tasks, review performance, and maintain records for inmate workers.
• Maintain custody and control of inmates during assigned duties.
