Job summary

AeroVect is seeking an experienced IT Systems Engineer to own and scale our corporate IT and device management. You will lead security, provisioning, and onboarding across Ubuntu Linux, macOS, iPadOS, and Windows, while coordinating with security vendors and internal teams.

The role emphasizes hands-on work, scalable processes, and strong collaboration with Engineering, Operations, and People teams in a fast-paced startup.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in IT systems engineering or related role.
• Hands-on Ubuntu Linux endpoint administration and security.
• Experience managing Linux, macOS, and Windows environments.

Responsibilities

• Own AeroVect's corporate IT infrastructure and devices.
• Lead company-wide device management across Ubuntu Linux, macOS, iPadOS, and Windows.
• Establish endpoint security standards, encryption, patching, and recovery procedures.
• Manage identity and access controls including MFA and onboarding/offboarding.
• Automate workflows for provisioning, deployment, and lifecycle management.
• Provide hands-on IT support and on-site assistance in Atlanta.
