Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or GED.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from an accredited college or university.
• Prefers advanced degree in Information Security, Computer Science or related field.
• 5 years IT security related work experience.
• Experience with IDS, IPS, ICE Engine or similar security technologies.

Responsibilities

• Recommend Firewall change requests for approval.
• Analyze intrusions and take appropriate action on detections.
• Analyze security incidents and notify owners and IT Security Governance.
• Review and approve access requests; provide RBAC and recertification.
• Map user provisioning workflows and ensure audit readiness.
• Monitor Enterprise information security program effectiveness.
• Provide data for audits and investigations.
• Investigate possible security violations; track security metrics.
• Design workflows for handling ePHI and sensitive data.
• Develop risk identification, tracking, and mitigation processes.
