Job Purpose

Herc Rentals seeks a Team Lead for the Digital Platforms Team. The role involves collaborating with technical teams, managing project backlogs and plans, overseeing project progress, ensuring quality metrics are met, managing budgets and open items, and providing regular updates to business and leadership.

Key Responsibilities

1. Drive Deliverables: Manage project backlogs and plans to ensure timely delivery of features and enhancements.
2. Maintain Quality: Track and uphold quality metrics for stories, QA testing, and standards.
3. Provide Project Insight: Prepare and deliver updates on project status and achievements.
4. Collaborate Effectively: Work closely with technical teams to align business and technical requirements.
5. Oversee Resources: Monitor and support resources to ensure high-quality outputs.

What You Will Do

1. Articulate Business Needs: Communicate business requirements clearly to technical teams.
2. Collaborate with Technical Teams: Foster strong relationships to ensure seamless integration.
3. Backlog and Project Plan Management: Support management of backlogs and plans.
4. Oversee Offshore Resources: Monitor offshore team progress and quality.
5. Track Quality Metrics: Create and monitor progress against quality standards.
6. Project Oversight: Manage budgets and open items for major projects.
7. Project Updates: Deliver clear updates to stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in MIS or related field
• 5 years of IT experience including QA, application development, data analysis
• Experience in functional analysis, business processes, use cases, and specifications
• Experience with User Story Design and Management
• Formal training in Business Analysis and/or Project Management (preferred)
• Experience managing development resources
• Knowledge of Software QA processes and tools
• Strong background in agile methodologies
• Proficiency in MS Office, Jira, Confluence, SQL (preferred)
• Effective communication skills
