Job summary

Viatris is seeking a Lead, IT Business Analyst in St. Albans, Vermont to bridge operations, engineering, quality and IT. You will translate business needs into technology solutions supporting production objectives and lead enterprise projects, automation initiatives and manufacturing/digital transformations.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in manufacturing or lab IT, experience with MES, and strong analytical, communication and stakeholder-management skills in a regulated pharma setting.

• Ensure production and laboratory systems meet performance and availability requirements.
• Troubleshoot manufacturing and laboratory systems (PLCs, HMIs, SCADA, historians).
• Ensure compliance with corporate security standards and audit readiness.

This role provides leadership for enterprise projects, infrastructure initiatives, manufacturing systems, laboratory applications, and digital transformation programs while driving continuous improvement and operational excellence.Key responsibilities for this role include:* Manage manufacturing execution systems.* Manage and coordinate with internal teams and external vendors to support delivery of application enhancements, server patching, and issue remediation.* Support ongoing strategic initiatives such as Automation Roadmap and Lean 4.0 transformation programs.* Coordinate with teams to ensure production and laboratory systems meet performance, availability, and operation requirements.* Evaluate impacts of system changes on manufacturing/laboratory processes and production schedules.* Assist with troubleshooting for manufacturing and laboratory systems including but limited to PLCs, HMIs, SCADA systems, historians, and manufacturing network infrastructure.* Ensure ongoing compliance with corporate security standards.* Proactive support of manufacturing, laboratory systems, and other critical IT services.* Support audit readiness and compliance initiatives through proper documentation and process controls.* Support infrastructure lifecycle planning, capacity management, and technology refresh projects.* Coordinate activities across business teams, vendors, infrastructure teams and application support groups.* Other duties as assigned.The minimum qualifications for this role are:* Bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science or related field.* Experience in regulated environments, preferably pharmaceutical or healthcare manufacturing.* 5+ years of experience supporting manufacturing or laboratory environments.* Experience working with cross-functional teams across manufacturing, operations, and IT.* Experience supporting testing, deployment, stabilization and user support activities.* Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.* Ability to work in a face-paced environment. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location.
