Job summary

Booz Allen Hamilton is seeking a senior cybersecurity professional to join a team of communications and systems engineers supporting defense-grade security programs. You will perform risk assessments, develop RMF packages, and map STIGs while collaborating with engineers and leadership.

You will work with ACAS/HBSS and eMASS, develop POA&Ms, and communicate security findings to senior management. A secret clearance is required, with strong information assurance experience and IT security

Qualifications

• 5+ years of information assurance or cybersecurity.
• Experience serving as an Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO).
• Experience with ACAS/HBSS for security administration.
• Experience using eMASS to address controls and upload artifacts such as STIG checklists or ACAS scans.
• Experience supporting system security and authorization processes.
• Experience reviewing vulnerability documentation and writing residual risk statements.
• Experience reporting IT security events or incidents based on policies and procedures.
• Secret clearance.
• HS diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Perform ongoing system analysis activities for programs.
• Conduct risk assessments of systems and equipment; assist with identifying vulnerabilities.
• Create and map Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs) and POA&Ms; support RMF accreditation.
• Create documentation supporting RMF packages and vulnerability management.
• Brief the security posture to client leadership and advise on mitigations.
• Collaborate across teams to communicate security complexities to diverse audiences.
• Implement infrastructure and cybersecurity controls and improve event detection in large enterprises.
• Perform risk and vulnerability assessments in network, system, and application areas.
