The role emphasizes ownership, technical security engineering, and documented artifacts such as SSPs, CONOPS, POA&M, and audit responses, with mentoring responsibilities across multiple projects.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of cybersecurity, information assurance, or security engineering experience.
• Mastery of RMF, ICD 503, and IC accreditation processes.
• Strong technical writing expertise, especially in SSPs, CONOPS, POA&M, and audit documentation.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the lead engineer for security accreditation and guide RMF/ICD 503 lifecycle.
• Drive ATD/IATT/ATO to ensure readiness at each gate and maintain customer security liaison.
• Review and develop RMF/ICD 503 documentation including SSP, CONOPS, Contingency Plans, User Guides, and SOPs.
• Track A&A progress, own POA&M development, and provide audit liaison support.
• Mentor junior engineers and provide technical oversight across multiple projects.
