Job summary

ADAIR'S LANDSCAPE is seeking a skilled irrigation technician in West Jordan, UT. The role involves start-up and winterization of irrigation systems, seasonal management of controllers, troubleshooting, and providing excellent customer service. You will also document communications and recommendations for improvements.

Expect to work Mon.–Fri. with a flexible schedule, access to professional development, and potential additional snow operation income. Starting pay ranges with experience."

Qualifications

• Must be thoroughly familiar with irrigation systems.
• Ability to interface with customers, subcontractors, and architects.
• Conduct all job paperwork and administrative requirements.

Responsibilities

• Install heads, rotors, valves, main and lateral lines, drip line, bubblers, etc. and operate equipment.
• Troubleshoot and perform repairs as needed.
• Provide excellent customer service and written notes for internal records and customer communication.

Job description

• Start up and winterization of irrigation systems

Responsibilities

Must be thoroughly familiar with all aspects of irrigation systems to include wiring controllers and valves, pressure testing, trenching/pulling pipe; installing heads, rotors, valves, main and lateral lines, drip line, bubblers, etc.; operating equipment, ordering correct materials; and interfacing with customers, subcontractors, architects, etc. Require minimal supervision and conduct all jobs in a safe manner and, if necessary, working with a crew of one other employee. The Irrigation Division must also attend to and complete all paperwork and administrative requirements related to the job while creating and maintaining a professional job atmosphere.

Additional Information

• Starting pay of $23.00-$30.00 per hour based on experience
