Job summary
DTE Construction - Sun State in Florida is seeking an experienced Irrigation Foreman to lead installation crews on landscape construction projects. You will plan daily work, supervise field teams, and ensure installations meet design specifications with a focus on safety and efficiency.
The ideal candidate will have 5+ years in irrigation installation, including leadership experience, and strong knowledge of irrigation components.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
- 5+ years in irrigation installation with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of irrigation system components and troubleshooting.
Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise irrigation installation crews on new construction and renovation projects.
- Plan daily work activities and assign tasks to ensure productivity, quality, and safety.
- Install and oversee installation of irrigation systems including mainlines, laterals, valves, heads, wiring, controllers, and connections.
- Read, interpret, and execute irrigation plans, schematics, and construction drawings.
- Coordinate with project managers, landscape foremen, and construction teams to align schedules and scopes.
- Troubleshoot irrigation system issues and make field decisions to resolve conflicts or design challenges.
