Job summary

Swoon is seeking a highly experienced Lead iOS Engineer to spearhead native iOS initiatives for a large enterprise client. You will be deployed across multiple teams, bringing hands-on Swift and SwiftUI expertise to design, develop, and deliver scalable mobile experiences.

The role emphasizes deep code ownership, rapid understanding of existing apps, and technical leadership while remaining hands-on in development.

Qualifications

Advanced hands-on experience with Swift
Strong recent experience with SwiftUI
Senior or Lead-level iOS engineering experience
Experience building and supporting production-scale mobile applications
Strong understanding of iOS architecture, design patterns, and development best practices

Responsibilities

Design, develop, enhance, and support native iOS applications
Build modern mobile experiences using Swift and SwiftUI
Understand existing iOS applications, architecture, and codebases
Independently own features and technical initiatives from development through delivery
Develop scalable, maintainable, high-quality mobile UI experiences
Troubleshoot and resolve complex application and production issues
Contribute to iOS architecture and technical design decisions
Collaborate with engineers, product teams, designers, and cross-functional partners
Perform code reviews and maintain engineering standards
Move between teams and initiatives as priorities change
Provide technical leadership while remaining hands-on
