Job summary

CCS INC. is seeking an experienced iOS development professional to lead the design and delivery of native mobile applications.

You will translate project requirements into reliable architecture and polished user experiences using Swift and/or Objective-C, contributing hands-on throughout the lifecycle from planning to release. You will partner with product, UX, backend, and QA colleagues to clarify requirements, coordinate dependencies, and deliver high-quality applications on schedule.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• At least eight years of experience developing native iOS applications with Swift and/or Objective-C, including prior experience leading a development team.
• Extensive experience with Xcode, CocoaPods, and version control systems such as Git.
• Strong knowledge of Apple’s design principles and the ability to build clear, accessible, and consistent user interfaces.
• Experience integrating RESTful APIs and third-party services, and working with offline storage solutions.
• Demonstrated ability to design application architecture, implement features, and optimize performance across the development lifecycle.
• A proven track record of preparing and publishing iOS applications to the App Store.
• Understanding of secure application development and compliance with relevant platform and government security requirements.
• Strong communication, collaboration, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Review project specifications, user needs, and business requirements to define application scope, features, and technical considerations.
• Design and maintain application architecture, including user interface components, data storage, and backend integrations.
• Write, review, and maintain clean, reliable Swift and/or Objective-C code in accordance with established standards and best practices.
• Develop and refine features and UI designs to support responsive performance and a seamless user experience.
• Integrate RESTful APIs and third-party services, and implement suitable offline storage and data-handling approaches.
• Identify, investigate, and resolve defects; support testing activities and improve application quality before release.
• Coordinate with backend, QA, UX, product, and other development team members to manage dependencies and deliver work effectively.
• Support app release and App Store publishing processes while ensuring compliance with Apple guidelines and applicable security standards.
• Provide technical guidance to teammates and contribute to planning, code quality, and continuous improvement.
• Research iOS frameworks, tools, and platform updates, and assess opportunities to apply relevant improvements to the applications.
