Job description

We are seeking a Lead Investigator to support the Quality Management function of Gas Services North America (GS NA), located in Orlando, Florida. The role will directly support the respective manager within the NA Quality Organization.

The Investigator role is expected to coordinate and lead complex quality investigations for North America Service using proven RCA tools, report findings, and facilitate potential action plans with stakeholders to ensure organizational learning. This position may require performing duties solo or as part of a multi-functional team. The position requires the ability to travel with very limited notice to support investigations throughout the region.

  • Drive investigations from inception to closure using various proven RCA tools/techniques.
  • Promote organizational learning through communication of findings/trends.
  • Coach and train less experienced investigators.
  • Present fact-based findings to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with internal business partners to effectively address and close findings.
What You Bring
  • Bachelor’s Degree (B.S.) in engineering or a related technical field, or an Associate’s Degree with equivalent experience; technical trainings/certificates are preferred.
  • 8+ years of experience, most of which are related to performing significant RCA efforts.
  • Proficient technical background in electrical and mechanical engineering systems.
  • Effective communication skills (written and verbal), and the ability to deal effectively with multiple workforce levels (e.g., management, contract labor, factory personnel).
  • Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without the need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization. Siemens Energy employees with current visa sponsorship may be eligible for internal transfers.
