Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Coordinates layout of stockroom, warehouse, and other storage areas, considering turnover, size, weight, and related factors of items stored.
• Advises employees on care and preservation of items received, stored, and methods and use of equipment in handling and storing of product/material.
• Processes and verifies inventory movement/transactions, maintains overall accuracy of inventory levels.
• Maintains accurate department records and required documentation.
• Reviews records for accuracy of information and compliance with established procedures, and to determine adequacy of stock levels.
• Executes daily work procedures, prepares work schedules, and expedites workflow.
• Coordinates work for special and periodic inventories at the direction of department manager/supervisor.
• Studies and standardizes procedures to improve efficiency of team members.
• Sets an example by following all safety regulations.
• Helps to create a positive team environment by setting the example in their work ethic.
