Job summary

VF Corporation is seeking an Inventory Lead to supervise daily inventory operations in our Danville facility. The role focuses on leading the shift, driving accuracy, and coordinating with the supervisor to meet production goals and quality standards.

The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of experience, strong organizational and communication skills, and proficiency with Microsoft Office. SAP familiarity is a plus, with competitive pay and benefits offered.

Inventory Lead

Schedule: Monday – Friday; 7am - 3:30pm

What will you do?

A day in the life of an Inventory Lead at VF looks a little like this.

Let’s break down that day-in-the-life a bit more.

• Leading, communicating, coaching, and motivating, individuals and the shift team to meet and/or exceed day-to-day quality, efficiency, and organizations objectives.


• Assist the supervisor in the execution of facility operations to meet production within their department to reach operational goal.


• Prepare basic inventory reports by collecting and analyzing information on stock usage.


• Maintain inventory operations by following policies and procedures and report changes as needed.

What do you need to succeed?

While formal education in a related field is great to have, we are most interested in your 2+ years of experience and professional achievements.

The foundation skills you will need in this position are:

• Basic level of education, reading, writing, and basic numeracy, problem solving, and accountability.


• Excellent organizational, communication and grammatical skills with very strong attention to detail.


• Proficient in Microsoft suite including Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook

There are also a few skills that are not required but preferred.

• Familiarization with SAP system.

Hiring Range:

$16.56 USD - $20.70 USD per hour

Incentive Potential : This position is eligible for additional compensation awards that may include an annual incentive plan, sales incentive, or commissionpotential.
