Holy Cross Health in Fort Lauderdale seeks an IR Technician to operate fluoroscopy and imaging systems, ensuring patient safety and high-quality imaging. You will perform image acquisition, PACS transfer, patient transport, and active team communication in a fast-paced hospital setting.

The role requires AMA-approved radiology training, Florida licensure, and BLS certification, with on-call availability within 30 minutes. A comprehensive benefits package accompanies this full-time position.

Qualificações

• Graduate of AMA approved Diagnostic Radiology program.
• Florida licensed Radiologic Technologist (ARRT Radiography).
• BLS certification required.
• Able to respond on-site within 30 minutes during on-call rotation.

Responsabilidades

• Demonstrates knowledge of radiographic/digital imaging equipment and table positioning for safe patient care.
• Acquire images and send to PACS.
• Communicate clearly with the team in verbal and written form.
• Transport patients to and from procedural areas and recovery areas.
• Assist with patient transfer to/from procedure table and stretcher.
• Maintain ongoing communication with physician operator during procedures.
• Willing to learn new procedures and coordinate in-service education.
• Administer contrast media under physician direction and respond to contrast reactions.
• Review history, labs, prior imaging, and correlate protocol with patient status; communicate findings.
