Lead Interventional Radiology Technologist (ORMC)

Position Summary

Orlando Health is seeking a Lead Interventional Radiology Technologist for the Orlando Regional Medical Center. The technologist will provide quality patient care during diagnostic imaging and related procedures, adhering to radiation safety principles.

Located in downtown Orlando, Orlando Health ORMC is a renowned facility with over 100 years of service, 898 beds, and multiple recognitions including U.S. News & World Report's 'Best Hospital' and Magnet Recognition.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain a cooperative work environment and report noncompliance.
  • Assist in evaluations and coaching.
  • Provide excellent customer service in communication with staff, visitors, and co-workers.
  • Ensure timely case turnover and proper workflow.
  • Support quality image production, documentation, and charge management.
  • Exercise professional judgment, assist physicians, and ensure patient safety and comfort.
  • Perform patient identification, history taking, and accurate documentation.
  • Position patients and equipment, apply radiation safety principles, and administer contrast media proficiently.
  • Handle emergencies, maintain supplies, mentor staff, and participate in process improvements.
Qualifications
  • Graduate from an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
  • Valid Florida Radiologic Technologist license.
  • ARRT certification and current BLS certification.
  • Minimum 6 months of Angiography experience.
