Job summary

Saint Joseph Hospital - Lexington is seeking an Interventional Technologist to prepare the lab and assist physicians during complex interventional procedures, ensuring imaging quality and patient safety.

You will lead the team, prepare the procedure room, monitor vitals, and mentor new staff in a high-pressure lab environment. A strong emphasis on sterile technique and collaborative care is essential.

Qualifications

• Associates of Science in Radiology Technology with 3–5 years supervisory experience.
• KY Radiographer license required upon hire.
• ARRT registered radiographer required upon hire or prior to start.
• Interventional radiology certifications (e.g., arterial/vascular) preferred but not required upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Lead staff professionally to ensure smooth patient flow.
• Prepare procedure room and assist physicians during interventional procedures.
• Maintain sterile fields and monitor patient safety throughout procedures.
• Mentor new staff joining the lab for seamless transition.
