Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved Radiologic Technology program.
• Registered with ARRT.
• KY Radiation Operator’s certification required.
• BLS required.
• IR Registry required within 2 years of employment.
• 2 years of general radiography experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assists in interventional radiology procedures as part of the IR team.
• Positions patients and sets exposure parameters per protocol.
• Maintains radiation safety practices and patient protection measures.
• Prepares procedure trays and related equipment; ensures proper documentation.
• Trains new personnel and participates in department meetings.
• Keeps department areas clean, organized, and compliant with standards.
