Job summary

Kathy Kuo Home in New York City is seeking an experienced Senior Interior Designer to join our on-site design team at the Tribeca showroom. As Lead Designer on projects, you will steer the creative direction, sourcing, and overall design vision, supported by our internal team handling procurement, installation, and after-sales support.

The ideal candidate will have 7+ years in high-end residential or commercial design, a degree in interior design, NYC-based, and strong skills in Photoshop,

Qualifications

• 7+ years in interior design with leadership on high-end projects.
• B.A. or B.S. in Interior Design or related field.
• New York City based with travel to client sites as needed.
• Strong skills in Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, AutoCAD/SketchUp.

Responsibilities

• Lead design concepts, space planning, FF&E, and renderings.
• Manage high-value client relationships from concept to install.
• Oversee material sourcing within budget.
• Maintain timelines and project deliverables.
• Communicate clearly with stakeholders throughout the lifecycle.
• Collaborate with procurement, fabric samples, and vendors.
• Travel to client homes for meetings, walkthroughs, and installs.
• Mentor junior designers and support staff.
