Customer Service

Customer Service is one of DKOR Interiors core values. Strong communication and relationship skills with designer and client is most important. Whether it’s communicating design on the fly and navigating through tough budget conversations or presenting a design in a professional yet fun matter. Designers are expected to communicate and meet with clients on a weekly basis to maintain that customer satisfaction.

Qualifications
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in the Residential and Commercial Design required
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience leading and mentoring multiple team members for multiple projects.
  • Interior Design/Interior Architecture Bachelor's Degree
  • Excellent verbal and written Communication and Presentation Skills
  • Experience in Client Relations, understanding their needs and style and guiding them through the entire process.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, Sketchup, Microsoft Office Suite Required
  • Ability to produce complete construction document sets
  • Excellent graphic and visualization skills to communicate design ideas
  • Knowledge and experience managing development of construction documents and jobsites
  • Understanding & experience of the full scope of a project.
  • Track project time daily and completes projects on schedule and within established budgets.
  • Rendering abilities (either hand or computer)
  • Has reliable transportation
  • Easy going and with an open attitude
  • Curiosity, self-motivation, and the ability to work within a team are essential
  • Ability to work under minimal supervision.
  • Persistent, proactive, and resourceful: VERY IMPORTANT
  • A professional attitude is necessary
  • Strong influencing, negotiation and communication skills (written, verbal, presentation)
  • Portfolio and References required.
Responsibilities
  • Design Leads are directly responsible for the Quality, Creativity and Delivery of the projects they are overseeing, along with client and team satisfaction.
  • Leads and ensures that all phases of interior design projects are in line with project schedule and clients’ expectations (includes conceptual design, schematic design, design development, construction documents, vendor follow ups, pricing requests, etc.)
  • Support discussions with clients to determine criteria guiding interior design, including budgets, preferences, etc. for interior design projects
  • Lead and coordinate specifications for materials, finishes, lighting, flooring, furniture, fixtures and equipment, as needed
  • Liaise with internal teams, external consultants, contractors, and vendors to ensure effective project coordination and communication
  • Jobsite visits, site surveys, and installation supervision
  • Client Design Presentations
  • Client Budget Meetings
  • Exceptional organizational skills, with the ability to manage and prioritize tasks efficiently while leading multiple team members and projects
