Schedule: Monday-Thursday, 3pm-1am. The shift includes a 10% - 15% premium, paid lunch, and 3-day weekends.

Role Overview

The Lead Interior Cabinet Technician requires advanced knowledge of aircraft cabinets and interior installations. Responsibilities include leading modifications, repairs, refurbishments, and fabrication of aircraft cabinets, with tasks involving parts replacement and technical applications. The role demands evaluation and adjustment skills for modifications, workflow management, and independent work.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage cabinet modifications and installations independently, coordinating with the CAE Director of Maintenance and other staff.
  • Perform quality checks, supervise, and assign daily tasks to team members.
  • Train, coach, and mentor team members to develop skills and performance.
  • Conduct annual performance evaluations for team members.
  • Assist with engineering design for major modification projects.
  • Remove, repair, and modify aircraft cabinets with minimal supervision.
  • Work independently on various projects.
  • Complete daily turnover sheets, work order processes, and tooling as needed.
  • Assist in training to improve interior personnel’s knowledge and performance.
  • Communicate effectively in English, both written and spoken.
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
