Job summary

Knowledge Management, Inc. seeks a Lead Intelligence Analyst in Washington, DC for a 1-year engagement with 4 optional years. Start in September; must be a U.S. citizen able to obtain TS/SCI within a year. Requires a Bachelor’s degree and at least seven years of open-source intelligence experience.

Analysts perform all-source research, produce written assessments and briefings, and coordinate with law enforcement. Lead under limited supervision while ensuring policy and security compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in intelligence, law enforcement, security, or related field.
• At least seven years of cumulative experience in open-source intelligence collection, analysis, and reporting.
• There is no education substitute for Lead Intelligence Analyst positions.
• In lieu of a bachelor's degree, four additional years of experience are required for Intelligence Analyst level and two additional years with an associate's degree.

Responsibilities

• Utilize all sources, open sources, publicly available information, and government databases to identify information, threats, and security concerns; compile into written assessments or briefs.
• Use methods and analysis to collect information to support drafting of intelligence assessments.
• Review event details and provide an intelligence assessment related to identified issues; engage with law enforcement for situational awareness as needed.
• Assist law enforcement by identifying threat actors and providing a threat assessment via research and analysis.
• Support investigations using the Behavioral Threat Assessment Management model.
• Apply technical knowledge to develop and produce finished cyber threat intelligence products and assessments; monitor trends to inform crisis management.
