Job summary

Spectrum Search is partnering with a rapidly growing enterprise software company to hire a Lead Integrations Engineer to own complex data integration and migration projects for large enterprise customers.

The role sits at the intersection of Data Engineering, Solutions Engineering, and Enterprise Implementation, taking projects from discovery through go-live, and engaging with enterprise IT stakeholders to deliver secure, scalable integrations.

Qualifications

• 5–12+ years of experience in Data Engineering, Software Engineering, Integrations Engineering, Solutions Engineering, or a closely related technical discipline.
• Proven track record of independently delivering complex enterprise integration or data migration projects from initial scoping through to production deployment.
• Customer-facing technical delivery experience is essential, including direct engagement with enterprise IT teams and technical decision-makers.
• Strong experience building integrations involving APIs, data synchronisation, ETL pipelines, or enterprise system orchestration.
• Previous experience working with large organisations that have complex technology environments, multiple data sources, and established internal systems.
• Demonstrated ability to take ownership of technical projects rather than operating solely within a ticket-based development environment.
• Experience working within a scaling SaaS business, enterprise software provider, or technical consulting environment.
• Exposure to industrial technology, manufacturing, scientific software, or other data-intensive enterprise environments would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end enterprise integration projects, from technical requirements gathering and solution design through to implementation and production deployment.
• Design, develop, and maintain integrations connecting the company's software platform with customers' existing enterprise systems.
• Build reliable data pipelines and connectors that support the movement, synchronisation, and transformation of business-critical information.
• Lead complex data migration projects, ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and integrity throughout the implementation lifecycle.
• Work with customer stakeholders to understand existing data architectures, system dependencies, and integration requirements.
• Take accountability for project delivery, proactively identifying technical risks, resolving blockers, and ensuring successful launches.
• Design and implement scalable ETL/ELT processes to extract, transform, and load data between enterprise systems.

Our client develops innovative software solutions that help organisations in technically complex industries centralise critical information, streamline workflows, and improve operational efficiency.

As the business continues to scale, its enterprise customers increasingly require seamless integrations between the platform and their existing technology environments. We are therefore looking for an experienced, commercially aware engineer who can combine strong data engineering capabilities with customer-facing technical delivery.

This is a hands‑on role sitting at the intersection of Data Engineering, Solutions Engineering, and Enterprise Implementation. You will own integration projects from initial technical discovery and scoping through to development, testing, deployment, and successful go‑live.

Key Responsibilities

Enterprise Integrations & Technical Delivery

• Translate complex customer requirements into clearly defined technical specifications and implementation plans.
• Advise customers on integration architecture, data management approaches, and technical best practices.
• Communicate project progress, technical risks, and delivery milestones clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Partner with customer-facing commercial and delivery teams to ensure projects remain aligned with agreed objectives and expectations.
• Participate in customer workshops and occasional on-site meetings where required.

Project Ownership & Operational Improvement

• Take responsibility for delivering integration projects against agreed scopes, timelines, and technical requirements.
• Review project requirements and statements of work to validate feasibility, dependencies, and implementation effort.
• Identify opportunities to improve delivery speed through reusable components, automation, and standardised integration workflows.
• Leverage modern engineering tools, including AI-assisted development where appropriate, while maintaining strong technical oversight and code quality.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Product, and Implementation teams to resolve complex challenges and improve platform integration capabilities.
• Develop technical documentation, integration playbooks, and implementation processes that support repeatable delivery.
