Clemson University in Seneca, SC, seeks an Insulation Technician capable of advanced maintenance on campus utility and HVAC systems. The role includes installation, repair, and preventative work, plus mentoring less experienced staff.
The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or equivalent and relevant general maintenance experience, with the ability to read blueprints, estimate costs, and maintain a safe, compliant work environment under OSHA and EPA/DHEC guidelines.
Performs work as insulator requiring advanced levels of professional skill. Performs installation, repair and preventative maintenance of insulation to campus main utility systems and associated air conditioning refrigeration systems. Provides training and mentorship to less experienced employees.

Expected Salary Range $45,300.00 - $61,100.00 Salary is dependent upon several factors including, but not limited to, a candidate's previous experience, knowledge, skills and performance in accordance with Clemson's compensation guidelines.
Emergency Response - In the event of an emergency closure or modified operations, this position is required to respond in order to provide the University's initial response to the emergency situation, including the execution of mission essential functions. Some positions in this category may be required to work remotely or be on call.
