Takeda in Lexington, MA seeks a Senior Instrumentation & Metrology Technician to ensure safe, compliant, and reliable instrumentation and control systems for GMP manufacturing. You will calibrate, maintain, troubleshoot, and diagnose critical equipment, while guiding technicians and contractors to uphold data integrity and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma with 4–8 years in instrumentation/metrology.
• Advanced knowledge of instrumentation and metrology in GMP environments.
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills for instrumentation and control systems.
• Proficiency with PLCs and associated instrumentation; preventive maintenance.
• Ability to interpret P&IDs and engineering docs with GMP/data integrity requirements.
• Excellent communication and leadership for mentoring teams.
• Willingness to wear PPE and meet physical requirements (50 lb lift).

Responsabilités

• Perform calibration, maintenance, repair, and diagnostics on instrumentation and control systems.
• Maintain site metrology programs per procedures and quality systems.
• Respond to alarms and disruptions, assess impact, coordinate resources.
• Support commissioning, qualification, and reliability improvement activities.
• Oversee contractor activities and ensure safety, compliance, and quality.
• Document calibration records, work orders, and GMP records timely.
