Job summary

Larson Design Group in Pittsburgh is seeking an experienced Instrumentation Engineer to lead instrumentation design, calculations, and technical deliverables across a broad project portfolio. You will develop instrument databases, PID drawings, and control specifications while ensuring adherence to ISA standards and project intent.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering from ABET-accredited school.
Minimum of five years of job-related experience.
Professional Engineer (PE) licensure preferred.

Responsibilities

Leads instrumentation design activities and documentation for projects.
Develops instrument databases, P&ID diagrams, and control details.
Develops instrument hardware specifications using ISA standards.
Leads development of control strategies in coordination with process, automation, and electrical teams.
Provides technical guidance and reviews junior engineers' work for quality.
