Job summary

Beusa Energy Group is seeking an Instrumentation and Controls Technician Lead in Ponca City, OK. The role focuses on electrical, instrumentation, and control system activities on Gas Turbine Generator packages, performing diagnostics, inspections, calibrations, and coordinating daily workflow to maintain high readiness.

The lead works closely with supervisors, engineers, and quality personnel, resolves issues, and guides junior technicians while ensuring safety and adherence to standards.

Qualifications

High school diploma required; college/technical degree preferred.
5–8 years in instrumentation, electrical, or gas turbine roles.
Strong troubleshooting of turbine/electrical/control systems required.

Responsibilities

Serve as on-site technical lead for turbine electrical, instrumentation, and controls work.
Assign and guide daily tasks for technicians while maintaining a hands-on role.
Provide advanced troubleshooting on AC/DC systems, instrumentation loops, VFDs, and control logic.
Review and validate work to ensure compliance with standards.
Lead, mentor and train junior technicians; support safety and quality culture.
