BW Design Group in Boston, MA is seeking an experienced Instrumentation and Controls Designer to develop and lead design solutions for industrial facilities. You will collaborate with licensed engineers, project teams, and clients to deliver PLC, SCADA, and DCS-based systems while mentoring junior designers.
You will prepare instrument specifications, loop sheets, I/O lists, and control diagrams, and provide field support during commissioning and construction.

In this role, you'll be responsible for developing instrumentation and controls design solutions for industrial facilities and multidisciplinary engineering projects. You'll work closely with licensed engineers, experienced designers, project teams, and clients to support PLC, SCADA, and DCS-based control systems. This position plays an important role in helping clients improve control system performance, reliability, and safety while giving you the opportunity to lead technical design work and mentor developing designers.
The approximate pay range for this position is $35-$50/HR. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting.
