Job summary

Fluor Corporation is seeking an experienced Instrumentation & Controls engineer to develop and review specifications for project delivery across industrial EPC projects. You will interpret P&ID’s, design PLC/DCS interfaces, and produce I/O lists, panel drawings, and instrumentation datasheets in a multidisciplinary team.

The role requires knowledge of industrial electrical codes, hardware such as HMIs, terminal blocks, and wiring diagrams, with a focus on safety and integration with vendors and

Qualifications

• Accredited four-year degree in engineering or global equivalent with eight years of related experience.
• Ability to communicate with management, coworkers, clients, vendors, contractors, and visitors.
• Job-related technical knowledge to complete the job.
• Ability to learn/apply knowledge of applicable statutes and guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Develop and review project delivery specifications including client specs and vendor docs.
• Understand electrical codes/standards for industrial EPC projects.
• Interpret P&ID development and instrumentation/control signal representation.
• Have technical understanding of PLC/DCS systems to create control drawings, I/O wiring, and interfaces.
• Develop instrumentation index, I/O lists, panel lists, and datasheets.
