codeCampus is seeking to hire and train a Lead Instructor in the Rosemead area for the current school year. As a Lead Instructor, you will lead STEAM projects/activities for students in their classrooms using our proprietary curriculum and teach students in grades TK-8th.

This role is great for early-career educators and seasoned educators alike. Candidates must be available Monday-Friday from 2:30PM to 5:45PM, have strong communication skills, and access to reliable transportation.

Qualifications

• Available to start training immediately.
• Available to work for the current school year and beyond.
• Monday to Friday 2:30PM–5:45PM availability.
• Experience teaching and managing large groups of youth in an academic setting.
• Exceptional communication skills.
• Access to reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
• Willing to go through our professional development training program.

Responsibilities

• Lead STEAM projects and activities for students using our curriculum.
• Work with site staff at partner schools in the Rosemead area.
• Teach students in TK–8th grade.
• Create relationships with parents and students built on trust and respect.
• Create a safe and supportive learning environment.
• Additional duties as assigned by the site coordinator.

About the role

Compensation

The hourly rate for this position is $25-28/hr depending on experience, with opportunities for pay raises based on performance and time with the company.
