Job summary

Northwest Mississippi Community College is looking for a full-time 10-month lead instructor for the Construction Management Technology program on the Senatobia Campus. The instructor will provide modern instruction and maintain a professional environment to ensure high-quality outcomes for students.

Candidates must have a minimum of three years of experience in construction management and a commitment to teaching excellence. A bachelor’s degree is preferred, with responsibilities including curriculum development and student engagement activities.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three (3) years of successful experience in construction management or a related field.
• Demonstrated professional demeanor and positive contributions to a team environment.
• Willingness to obtain required certification(s).

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality classroom and lab instruction using modern construction management practices.
• Develop lesson plans, job sheets, and demonstrations.
• Collaborate effectively with faculty and support staff.
• Monitor student progress and ensure compliance with licensing and regulatory requirements.
• Manage inventory of program equipment and supervise laboratory experiences.
