Job summary

Columbus State Community College is seeking an Instructional Designer II to coordinate and lead multiple course-design projects, forming instructional design teams with staff and subject matter experts. You will delegate work to ensure timely, high-quality course design and multimedia development.

The role focuses on applying instructional design principles, creating scripts and storyboards, and producing digital learning assets while staying current with digital design techniques and Blackboard

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Instructional Design, Curriculum, Technology or related field.
• Three (3) years of experience with online learning technologies and pedagogies, and multimedia design development.
• State Motor Vehicle Operator's License or demonstrable ability to access work sites.
• An appropriate combination of education, training, coursework and experience may qualify a candidate.

Responsibilities

• Manages the design and development of online courses, ensuring on-time and on-budget delivery.
• Leads instructional design teams and coordinates with faculty and staff to produce digital learning assets.
• Reviews and updates Blackboard content and supports testing and accessibility for courses.
