A leading systems integration company is seeking a Lead Technician & Programmer in San Marino, CA. This role requires overseeing the installation and programming of advanced audio/video, security, and low voltage systems, along with managing a team of technicians. Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Lead Technician & Programmer to oversee and execute the installation and programming of audio/video, security, and low voltage systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, leadership abilities, and a commitment to excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage installation projects from start to finish, ensuring timely and accurate completion.
Supervise and mentor a team of technicians, providing guidance and training as needed.
Install and configure audio/video equipment, security systems, structured cabling, and other low voltage systems.
Program and integrate control systems such as Crestron, Control4, Lutron, and Savant to automate AV functionalities and ensure a seamless user experience.
Troubleshoot and resolve system issues, performing necessary repairs and adjustments.
Maintain accurate records of installations, service reports, and inventory.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
Communicate effectively with clients, providing updates and addressing concerns.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 5 years of experience in audio/video and low voltage system installations.
Proven leadership experience, with the ability to manage and motivate a team.
Proficiency in programming and troubleshooting Crestron, Control4, Lutron, and Savant systems.
Strong knowledge of industry standards and best practices.
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
Ability to lift and carry equipment up to 50 lbs.
Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as required.
