Position Summary

MUST BE LOCATED IN SOUTHERN CHICAGO SUBURBS OR INDIANA AREA

The Lead Installer is responsible for installing residential HVAC equipment to high-quality standards. This includes receiving routed work, arriving on time, and performing tasks as per company expectations. The role involves promoting warranty products to customers and requires a valid driver’s license, refrigerant certification, and a commitment to safety. Based in Naperville, IL, the technician will participate in rotating on-call schedules and accept off-shift work during peak periods. All technicians will promote our warranty products to customers.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to
  • Providing excellent customer service consistently.
  • Adhering to all safety policies, including monthly calibration of gas sensing tools.
  • Installing furnaces, condensers, humidifiers, and accessories independently.
  • Mastering electrical wiring for HVAC systems, including high and low voltage.
  • Managing inventory and using materials responsibly.
  • Installing sheet metal duct systems, gas lines, copper refrigerant lines, including soldering and brazing.
  • Completing billing, ordering parts, and handling paperwork accurately and timely.
  • Using good time management to optimize travel and work efficiency, including inventory cycling counts.
  • Demonstrating technical competence and problem-solving skills.
  • Building credibility with colleagues and leadership.
  • Diagnosing problems accurately and providing high-quality customer service.
  • Collaborating with safety teams and maintaining safety standards.
  • Meeting productivity, quality, and safety metrics, and pursuing ongoing training and development.
  • Working in challenging environments, including heights, extreme temperatures, and heavy lifting.

The base salary range is $50,000 - $70,000 annually, with potential bonuses and incentives based on performance, experience, and location. Exact compensation varies.
