LEAD INSTALLATION TECHNICIAN (FIRE ALARM & GENERAL)

One of the leading integration firms in the Midwest is getting even bigger. Our Installation Department is expanding, and we need qualified people to lead the charge.

Our techs install a wide variety of low voltage systems such as: access control, audio/visual systems, fire alarm, nurse call, sound reinforcement, &video surveillance. As a new hire, you’ll train with our lead technicians at multiple job sites to learn about all our systems and how to install them. Once you learn the ropes you’ll start managing projects from start to finish. You'll become a familiar face by interacting with our other dedicated departments to ensure premium service such as: Engineering/Drafting, Purchasing, Shipping/Receiving, and Custom/Service. Requirements:
  • Associates Degree in Electronics
  • Good analytical/troubleshooting skills
  • Good written/verbal communication for client relations
  • Work towards achieving licenses and certifications (FA Inspector/Install & CTS)
  • Valid state driver's license
  • Pass a pre-employment test/drug screen
  • Willing to travel when necessary
  • Willing to work overtime/weekends when necessary
  • Must be able to climb and work off ladders or scaffolding
  • Must be able to lift 75lbs when necessary
Experience:
  • Low voltage installation: 3 years (Preferred)
