Job summary

JPMorganChase is seeking a Lead Infrastructure Engineer to join the Infrastructure Platforms team within Corporate Sector. You will apply deep knowledge of software, applications, and processes in infrastructure engineering and continuously evolve cross-functional capabilities beyond your domain.

You will architect and maintain VMware infrastructure, administer OpenShift clusters, and drive automation initiatives using Terraform and Ansible while ensuring resiliency and security across

Qualifications

• Formal training or certification on infrastructure engineering concepts and 5+ years applied experience.
• Deep knowledge of VMware technologies and OpenShift administration.
• Experience with automation tools and infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, Ansible).
• Experience with Linux and Windows OS management, patching, and monitoring.

Responsibilities

• Applies technical expertise to projects of moderate scope and develops solutions for design, development, and troubleshooting.
• Uses enterprise AI capabilities to accelerate infrastructure analysis and documentation, ensuring validation and security compliance.
• Leads workstreams to modernize infrastructure and coordinate changes across platforms.
• Architects and maintains VMware infrastructure (vSphere, vCenter, ESXi, Horizon, Workspace ONE, App Volumes, DIM).
• Administers Red Hat OpenShift clusters, including setup, scaling, and CI/CD integration.
• Leads automation initiatives with Shell scripting, Terraform, and Ansible for provisioning, patching, and monitoring.
